| Club History |
Monte Millennium Generations, founded in late 2004, is new and 100% dedicated to all of the Chevrolet Monte Carlos and their owners. I (Thomas B. Johnson II) was a member of the National Monte Carlos Owner Association (NMCOA) for two years, after the first was when I decided to start my own club.
A few other friends and myself originally began planning for the club 2002 but things didn’t go as well as planned. We only had a few supporters and didn’t iron out all the kinks a.k.a. research. So we didn’t advertise or even really take it anywhere at all. We had way too many other things going on to really focus on the club itself. We weren’t able to really get the ball rolling until now.
In this year we’ve been getting it together the foundations, details, cars, and plans so that we may be successful at achieving our goals. Much research has taken place along with many phone calls; emails and letters went out to attempt to find perks for our members. Some doors closed and many more were opened for us. It was during that revelation when I knew the club could and would become a success. Our resources are steadily accumulating and expanding into different areas and divisions.
We plan to be the most recognized, professional, and appreciated Monte Carlo Car Club and unique site around. We are stemming from Detroit, MI “the Motor City Capital of the World” and it doesn't matter where, you’re from, what generation, model, condition or customized version, you may have, you and your Monte Carlo(s) are welcome with us. We’re starting with a small number of enthusiasts but we plan on growing quickly to expand across the US.
Monte Millennium Generation is a Non-Profit organization. |
